Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy
Relationships are at the heart of healing.
Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) is a gentle, relationship-based approach that helps children and their caregivers reconnect, especially when life has been affected by trauma, loss, or attachment disruptions
I aim to create a safe and supportive space where children and their parents and carers can slow down, better understand each other's experiences, strengthen trust, and find new ways of responding to challenges with empathy, connection, and confidence.
DDP is based on the core principles of PACE
Playfulness Acceptance Curiosity and Empathy
DDP and VIG
We build on your family's existing strengths using structured, evidence-based methods that focus specifically on the space between you, rather than pathologising individuals.

Video Interaction Guidance
DDP focuses on creating safety through playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy. We work together to strengthen attachment bonds and help parents and carers connect to their child or young person's inner world
VIG uses short video clips of your family's positive interactions to highlight successful communication, helping you see and build on your natural strengths.
